What Stages Does Turnstile Manufacturing Go Through?

Custom turnstile manufacturing makes project-specific designs possible for needs that ready-made catalogue models cannot meet. The process usually follows these steps:

1. Needs assessment: Traffic volume, the required security level, the architecture and the type of reader to be used are determined.
2. Design: Dimensions, housing shape, materials, colour and how the logo will be applied are finalised.
3. Approval: The customer reviews the technical drawing and, if necessary, a sample unit, and gives approval.
4. Manufacturing: The housing is produced; mechanical assemblies and electronic boards are fitted inside.
5. Testing and delivery: The product undergoes functional tests, is installed on site and put into operation.

For custom manufacturing, the price is mainly determined by how far the design is customised, the choice of materials and finish, the readers to be built into the housing and the quantity produced. On the service side, the device type, the nature of the fault, the parts replaced, the address and whether there is a periodic maintenance contract all play a role. Access to Spare Parts and Product Lifespan

One of the most important factors determining how many years a turnstile or barrier will serve is whether its parts can still be found years later. When the manufacturer and the service provider are the same company, it is easier to repair mechanical parts or remanufacture them when necessary. That way, you do not have to replace the entire product because of a small part problem.
